- Description
- Joseph Lanner, original 'Waltz King' of Vienna together with J. Strauss sr., wrote this music specifically for string quartet or quintet. This arrangement is written for salon orchestra. Die Romantiker is one of Lanner's most beloved compositions. After a slow introduction, there are five waltzes, all closely related in mood and melody, ending in a charming coda.
