- Description
- Village 95 is real minimal music for Brass Band. Originally it was written for the "Orpheo" contemporary chamber music ensemble, for recorders, woodwinds, guitars, piano, double bass and percussion.
It describes a run through an old house with many corners and stairs. Inspired by composers like Philip Glass, Wim Mertens and mainly John Adams, the piece is somewhat overwhelming by it's ostinato rhythms and spectacular effects.
This download contains score and full set for brass band.
